Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy automated solutions and automated decision analytics to replace manual processes.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of cloud environments, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and security. This involves monitoring performance, managing resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Work closely with software developers to facilitate DevOps practices, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of applications in the cloud.
  • Support all aspects of Cloud Platform and product operations on a day-to-day basis and maintain continuous availability, durability, scale, and uptime.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business practices and procedures through analytics and technology.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for cloud-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to infrastructure, software, and deployment.
  • Define and build innovative solution methodologies and assets around infrastructure, cloud migration, lifecycle, and deployment operations at scale.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in cloud computing and continuously update skills. This includes acquiring new certifications as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Technology experience, including IaaS/PaaS/Serverless (Azure, GCP, and/or Amazon Web Services) based on K8S, infrastructure automation/orchestration technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform), server, storage, high availability architecture
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Hands-on experience in coding (python / Go ) and automation tools, Monitoring/Instrumentation tools (Prometheus/Grafana, new relic, elastic or equivalent).
  • Highly organized and able to multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with maintaining high-scale deployments, managing high throughput, and IO-intensive services.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and drive for continuous improvement, able to take initiative and learn on the fly. 
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Maintain services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Maintaining a 24x7 production cloud environment with a high level of service availability, ensuring services are designed with 24x7 availability and operational readiness to support expected goals of products and services

Preferred Certifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect

Job Type & Salary:

  • Full Time / TBD

Job Details, Location & Work Hours:

  • On-Site / 9 am ~ 5 pm (Mon ~ Fri)
  • Collaboration with IT teams and various departments is essential
  • Occasional on-call duties may be required to address urgent system issues
